Wrapping presents is easier with the right wrapping paper. If it’s too thick, it will be tough to fold around corners, and if it’s too thin it may tear, so look for something in the middle. Also, think twice about glittery, sparkly wrapping paper as tape doesn’t stick well to it.

 

 

For the best presentation, your wrapping paper should be wrapped tightly around your gifts. This is where the quality of your paper comes in handy- you should be able to pull tightly around your gift without it tearing at the corners. It’s helpful to tape the inner edge of the paper to the package so you can pull it taut as you wrap the paper around.

 

 

Using double sided tape allows you to hide it, resulting in a clean and neat appearance and extra pretty wrapping. Just keep in mind double sided tape doesn’t stick well to some papers. Try both clear tape and invisible tape to see which one shows less. The less you can see tape on your gifts, the better!
